Arcade Cricket
Arcade
Cricket is a freeware program that runs in Windows 9x by Mat
Clark. The game is predominantly a 2 player game (if you play
as 1 player there is no real computer A.I.). When bowling
you control the cursor to determine roughly where the delivery
will pitch. When batting you choose an appropriate shot at
hopefully the correct time.
Mat also mentions
he will make the source code available (Visual Basic 6) to
those with the necessary programming skills.

Cann Cricket

This game has two modes of gameplay. Single player –
the player controls the Australian batting against the rest
of the world teams. There is a password given after winning
a match that can be entered at the start screen to resume
from that next game at a later time. A player can have a quick
game and still continue the world domination. Multi-player
– In this mode the two players can play on the same
keyboard. One player bats the other bowls. The controls are
really simple consisting of only 4 buttons. The player models
are stick figures but the animation is indeed impressive.
Looks like an earlier version of Stick Cricket.

Dennis Shine's One Day Cricket
Simulator
The game plays out a One Day International using teams (squads
of the 9 test playing nations are included) of your choice.
This game uses the players One Day statistics to play out
a One Day Match. The game simulates accelerated
scoring in the first 15 and last 12 or so overs of an innings,
as well as the increased chance of getting out during the
'slog'. You can choose automatic or manual bowling. Selecting
manual means you have to select the bowler at the start of
each over.

World Cup Cricket
World Cup Cricket is based on international one-day matches
played between the nine test playing countries. You choose
a team and guide them through a series of international tournaments
each with their own unique format. After three tournaments
you play in the ultimate competition - the World Cup (thats
assuming you qualify, of course). The format of the actual
matches is similar to that of its predecessor Sticky Wicket
but with some additional features such as umpire images and
advanced strategy within the match situation. This one is
a pretty good game, yes one of those addictive game what with
all those statistics.
