LEHMANN INTERESTED TO COACH ENGLAND

Former Australia Test player Darren Lehmann is interested in coaching England, saying he would consider any offer from the England and Wales Cricket Board. "I'll talk to them if they want to talk to me," Lehmann, who played 27 tests for Australia, said in Sydney's Sun-Herald newspaper on Sunday. England is looking for a coach after firing Peter Moores this week for a dispute with Kevin Pietersen, who resigned as captain at the same time. Lehmann, 38, began coaching Australia's academy side last year and has already been signed by the Deccan Chargers for the Indian Premier League. He's considered to be a possible future coach of Australia. Shane Warne stated that the ECB should target Lehmann ahead of the Ashes, and the latter said, "Yes, I'm interested. "It's something I would definitely consider. Shane Warne is a very good friend of mine and he knows what I want to do. You would never knock back an opportunity like that,” he said. "I'm working with second-stringers at the moment and anyone would want to work with players at that international level." Lehmann played county cricket in England for a decade and captained Yorkshire.
